Not only did the promotion generate more liquor sales with the new flavor, it also helped create a positive image with female customers. These customers also had a promotional product they would use later which continued to generate interest and sustaining power for Absolut.

It would be pretty hard to put a Chevy keychain on your keys and get into your old Toyota. This would keep the dealership on customer’s minds and give keep the Chevy experience fresh in their minds. Selling a few more cars the month before and creating a buzz around town made the keychain promotion all worth it.

Instead everyone who donated $1 to this charity received candy corn or black licorice lip balm to have and remember the good deed they did.
